High Spectral Efficiency

The ultimate purpose of creating a superior base station is to provide a higher spectral efficiency. Kleos’ PEGASUS technology offers a much higher spectral efficiency compared to existing solutions on the market, allowing to place a larger number of bits in one Hertz of spectrum per second at a given cell.

Kleos has pioneered new techniques that enable operators to achieve a higher spectral efficiency without considerably compromising on coverage and without having to drastically increase the number of cells. 

This implies utilizing new and advanced forms of modulations, innovative coding and signal processing techniques as well as new modes of transmission allowing us to get closer and closer to the Shannon limit.

These techniques revolve around spatial diversity, advanced forms of MIMO, adaptive interference cancelation methods and other forms of optimization.
