Kleos’ Pegasus BTS consumes less energy compared to other solutions available on the market thanks to a smart system that automatically puts the station into a sleep mode when there is no traffic to serve.

Additionally, it is designed to operate with a minimal power consumption that can be several folds lower than competing platforms, serving as many as 3000 users with as low as 2 KW.

Moreover, compared to older technologies, Kleos’ Pegasus base stations require a much lower number of always-on signaling transmissions which permits deeper and longer periods of sleep when there are little or no data transmissions to serve.
